World Dwarf Games
In 2013 I competed at my second World Dwarf Games, this time in Michigan at the US. My first Games had been in Rambouillet, France, 2005, and my third ones were later on in Guelph, Canada, 2017. The World Dwarf Games are an international olympic-style competition for athletes with dwarfism that are held every four years.
In order to go, I did a crowdfunding campaign that was a success, both in terms of tremendous support from my backers and in terms of media coverage. Afterwards, the Games were also a success in terms of results and, even more important, personally. Again, I was able to enjoy playing team sports, as, even though I was the only athlete from Spain, I was part of Team Europe.
The great experience at the Games and, especially, with Team Europe are filmed at the documentary ‘Glance Up’ and also written at the book in Catalan ‘Cròniques dels Jocs’ (The Games’ Chronicles).
